Paddock maintenance also play a pivotal role in our business, tired grasslands can be revitalised in a number of ways to produce fresh even pasture.

Chain harrowing: This process can be done all year round and benefits by dispersing animal droppings evenly over the ground as well as levelling molehills and loose soil. Dead or dying grass is also up rooted and dispersed allowing new growth.
Rolling: Water Ballasted flat rolls are used for compacting un even ground, ideally done  during spring or autumn time when soil is soft as to have maximum effect.
Mowing / Topping: Overgrown grass, brambles and nettles can be cut back with heavy duty rotary or flail mowers mounted on the rear of a tractor.  Excessively long or dense material can be raked into rows and collected leaving an even cut finish.
