Close Board:
A solid timber fence comprising of mortised wooden or concrete posts with horizontal rails fixed in place. Feather edge slats are positioned vertically, overlapping the previous board and then nailed to the rails. Available in any height it proves to be a popular choice for both domestic and commercial properties due to its strength and aesthetics.
Picket Fencing:
Also known as palisade, similar in construction to close board fencing with the difference being that the vertical slats are spaced apart, generally lower in height than most fences and is commonly used for garden fencing. The tops of the pales can be supplied either flat, pointed or rounded depending on requirements.
Waney Panel:
Panel fencing is a simple process comprising of prefabricated panels set in between vertical posts made of timber or concrete.
A very popular choice for domestic properties, available in many styles from 3ft in height to over 6ft.
Post and Rail:
Tradtional style of fencing which is not only pleasing to look at but very strong and durable, there are various styles available ranging from square sawn, machined half round and cleft timber. All types can have wire attached to contain pets and children if needed
Stock Fencing:
Suitable for keeping in all types of livestock. Large diameter wooden straining posts set at 50 meter intervals also at any change of direction or susbstancial undulation in ground level with smaller intermediate posts between, usually 2 - 3 meter spacings. High Tensile Wire is then tensioned across the face of the posts and stapled. 2 strands of plain or barbed wire finish off the top of the netting giving a extremely durable and heavy duty fence. Horse owners may consider having a half round rail in favour of the 2 strands of wire.
Horse Fencing:
Same principle as Stock fencing but has an incresed total height to reduce the chances of a horse attempting to jump out, also has the benefits of smaller holes due to the increased number of horizontal and vertical wires which cut down the possibility of the animal trapping its feet in the wire.

Rabbit Fencing:
Various heights and wire gauges available to suit requirements. Wooden posts are set into the ground and horizontal strands of plain wire are tensioned across the posts in either 2 or 3 places, the netting is then clipped to the plain wire and tensioned both vertically and horizontally giving a tight inpenetrable barrier. Wire can be either dug into the ground or folded and pegged.
Suitable for keeping unwanted vermin out or livestock safe from predators.
Chestnut Paling:
Simple design generally used for temporary fencing, consisting of vertical pales wired together then tensioned between straining posts. Ideal for low budget demarcation or site fences.
